How ATL Senior Advisor works

For most families we help, the whole journey — from that first search to moving day — comes together inside of two weeks.

☎️1

Tell us what's going on

Share a few details about the level of care, the budget, where you'd like to be, and how soon you need it. You stay anonymous until you're ready to share how to reach you.

🤝2

We hand-pick one to three

A local advisor reads through your answers and personally lines up one to three verified communities — not a firehose of five or six at once.

🏡3

Visit, decide, settle in

We set up the tours, sit with you to compare the quotes, and stay right beside you through the paperwork and the move itself. Always free to your family.

Common questions

Who licenses assisted living facilities in Atlanta?
Georgia licenses two distinct types of community care. Personal Care Homes (PCH) are lower-acuity settings licensed under Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 111-8-62, while Assisted Living Communities (ALC) — created by O.C.G.A. § 31-2-7 and licensed under 111-8-63 — offer a higher level of hands-on care. Some ALCs (and select PCHs) may also carry a Memory Care Center certification for secured dementia care. Both PCHs and ALCs are licensed and inspected by the Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH), Healthcare Facility Regulation Division (HFRD). Families can verify a community's license and inspection history at the DCH/HFRD facility search (dch.georgia.gov).
How does Medicaid help pay for care?
Georgia's Community Care Services Program (CCSP) waiver can cover personal care and supports in PCH/ALC settings or at home for those who qualify, and SOURCE (Service Options Using Resources in a Community Environment) may also help, but neither generally covers room & board. PACE availability in metro Atlanta is limited — our advisors help you understand current eligibility and options.
What cities/areas do you serve?
Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Marietta, Smyrna, Kennesaw, Decatur, Dunwoody, Brookhaven, Lawrenceville, Duluth, Norcross, and Woodstock — across Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett, and Cherokee counties throughout Metro Atlanta.
How much does assisted living cost around Atlanta?
Standard assisted living in Metro Atlanta generally runs $3,900 to $5,900 a month, while memory care runs $5,000 to $7,200 a month. Costs vary by area — Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, and Johns Creek skew highest; South Atlanta, parts of DeKalb, and outer Gwinnett/Cobb run comparatively lower.
How fast can a parent move in?
Most non-urgent moves close in 7–14 days. Hospital discharges from Emory University Hospital, Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Grady Memorial Hospital, or Northside Hospital can sometimes happen the same day.
Can Area Agency on Aging or VA benefits help?
The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) Area Agency on Aging offers guidance across the metro region, along with the Georgia Division of Aging Services (DAS), the Aging and Disability Resource Connection (ADRC) of Georgia, and GeorgiaCares for free Medicare counseling. Veterans can reach the Atlanta VA Health Care System for benefits guidance, including Aid & Attendance.
Is my information shared with lots of companies?
No. We hand-match you to just one to three fitting options, and your details stay right here with our local Atlanta team. We never resell them.
What does this service cost families?
Nothing at all — it stays completely free for your family. A community pays us only after your loved one has actually settled in and moved.

Let's find the right fit for your family.

Free, online, and never any pressure. We're on your family's side — not the facilities'.
